Day NinetyEight: Shower, Shave and Breakfast and off to the doctors with SideKick... it was the Opening of Season 3 in Fortnite and a new update was cued up to load... and it did... all day. So Lawson had nothing better to do anyway. Sat in the car and waited... went to the far end of town to get a saw blade for the trimmer... once again, not in stock... damn, going to be another one of those Wednesdays again. Hit a pot hole on the main street through town, it ripped the end of the rear stabilizer bar off, great... knock knock... knock knock knock... oh damn how long are we going to have to listen to that??? OK so now I'm pondering not how to fix it but just how to make it stop making noise... I think a pool noodle on the swaybar... sure it will still bounce up and down and knock about... but we won't hear it because pool noodles are squishy not knocky... I go to look for a replacement for the Lathe Switch... we try someplace else this week because it didn't sound like the place we shopped at last week had what we needed... $80+tax for the proper switch and a promise that I would find one any where cheaper in town... I kinda balked at that and was willing to try my luck at a few more places before committing. We go back to the shop we were at last week and explain the problem... they went hunting for part once again... Now they didn't find any new old stock... the part I needed was in the computer and a little more costly this week but not $80+ worth of costly. $40 sounded much better than $80 so I picked that up. Stopped at Best Buy, no Melanie, no headset/mic for the Xbox controllers... the isle looked like the toilet paper isle in the grocery store on day 8... they said they were expecting an order to come in soon... I didn't even ask about the soda stream tank refill. Lunch, grabbed a chicken breast at Pick of the Crop... they yelled at SideKick for getting too close to people, and a drink from Timmies. Home by 3:30 today. Goody... Lawson's game was almost finished updating... man our internet sucks. His friends all had it downloaded in the morning and played all day... by the time we got home it still had 3% left and that took almost 2 hours... the last bit is always the worst. Lawson finally got to play some after dinner, which was pretty much eggs because no one had the will to live by the end of the day, never mind the will to cook... fridge is looking kinda scary... I'm going to go make a shopping list for Heather to take care of in the big city after work tomorrow before returning to hicksville.
