Day 103: Ya you notice I finally changed from spelling out the number... they are getting too fucking large... not something I considered when I started this. 5:30 am... why the fuck am I up again... Ah, Heather apparently needed my bank card... she got a guilty look on her face after she read that over my shoulder and confessed. I remember looking at the clock, I remember from about then on but nothing before that... The boy wasn't too much behind on the morning. We sorted out some more things on the Minecraft server but for some reason he seems reluctant to have his friends play on it... I keep telling him there isn't anything they can do to it and if so I can fix it without hardly any effort... I think too much online playing with their friends is effecting them. I always wondered what was going to define the next generation, I assumed some type of technology... We had the Boomers, GenX, the Millennials... we now have the COVIDKids... how wonderful... greatest job potential of the generation, therapists. Fuck, another Monday... I hate Mondays nothing get accomplished on Mondays the wife works me too hard on the weekend and by Monday getting up to pee is a challenge. I did make it out the the garage because I wasn't 100% happy with the "Stick" I had made. It didn't feel right in my hands and mine are bigger than the boys so to him it must have been really whacked... to be honest, I cut the project short after everyone just labeled it a stick. So I worked on the handle more, made it longer so you could choke up on the bat without holding the thick part in your hand so much. When I was happy with it, I brought it in and got out the patterned flame hockey tape and wrapped the handle. the pattern matched as I wrapped, from one end to the other and formed a nice straight line along the whole handle... I must have got the size right (assuming any thought was put into the tape at all)... looks more like a bat now... I'm giving it a name: "Stick" now no one will have any questions as to what I'm talking about when referencing this in the future. In the afternoon sidekick came by for coffee and to check out the lathe, I really have to figure out how to grease the bearings on that thing without ripping it all apart... after 20 some odd year I think it could use it. Maybe a syringe with some grease in it... and idea I have to work on. Heather made it home a little late from work today, we kinda had BBQed chicken on the menu for tonight but the chicken was skinless and it just didn't seem right as there was nothing to hold the BBQ sauce on... Hmm... wait, those coconut encrusted shrimp would be tasty in the chicken variety... I deboned and cut up the chicken into chicken strips and Heather took care of the coconut mixture and got the frying pan going on the stove. Yup that was it... and cheese cake for dessert. Mmmm We lay about fading in and out of consciousness, the results of a Monday... I asked what the time was... 7pm... dear lord it felt like midnight. The boy was set in motion on his bed time routine, if that didn't start promptly tonight we were going to fall to sleep and leave him without the instruction he gets every night and he may forget to sleep. Pretty sure it only took him an hour or so to brush his teeth, by then Heather was long gone. I sent him to bed. Don't remember much after that... I didn't get this finished, so tonight entry is going to start with Day 104: Got up and did last night COVID Report.
